PHOTO SHOOT

As a gift, we hired a professional photographer to provide you with a headshot for ministry use. Please plan to arrive camera-ready on Tuesday morning, February 18! It is recommended to wear solids or at least not something too busy. Please note that we are on a very tight time frame for taking individual photos of the entire cohort. As such, it is important that you come fully ready, arrive on time, and wait with your community group. Your group will take individual photos, and one group shot with your entire community group.

UNDERSTANDING THE PLAN

Each community group has a specific schedule. Your community group schedule is listed in the drop-down menu below.

If you have any questions or needs, please visit the "Got Questions" page or find one of our team members. We are happy to serve and assist you.

At the bottom of this page, you will find a description of the five basic elements of the afternoon rotation schedules. You will stay with your community group and rotate into these areas on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. Your attention to time is important and greatly appreciated. To keep things simple, the rotations are the same for both days.

If you need to step away at any time during the rotations, let your coach know and keep in communication with your coach. We recommend pushing through but recognize the Lord may be doing something you need to process. The property has beautiful grounds for you to rest and pray. Please be sensitive to your group if you reenter during a session.

LEADERSHIP CONVERSATIONS

Leadership conversations are part of the Tuesday afternoon rotations. Our facilitator will host, Deb McWilliams, an open discussion focused on implementing ministry principles learned in the WIML Cohort into your real-life leadership situations.

CALLING STATEMENTS

Before arriving at the Summit, you should have completed or nearly completed your calling statement. The activities in this session are two-fold. The primary goal of this session is to provide an opportunity for each participant to present their calling statement to someone who has not been in the process. Each participant in your community group will have a personal session with your coach and one of our “Calling Statement” coaches. Our lead coach, Sarah Miller, will lead these sessions.

While these conversations happen, the rest of the community group will participate in a discussion at the creative station facilitated by Caroline Rodrigues. Art supplies are available for those who want to “talk and create.” The table discussion will focus on your values and calling statements.

Calling statements are declared publicly in our closing session on Wednesday evening.

COACHES CORNER

Join your coach and community group for a special ministry moment on Wednesday afternoon. Your coach will lead this session, sharing her heart for you moving forward. This time is as unique as each community group and coach! We have discovered that this session seals some of the work the Lord is doing in and through you.

MENTAL HEALTH TRIAGE

Facilitated by Katie Gale, this session will equip participants with essential skills to assess and respond to mental health needs within their ministry and leadership scope. Katie will explore strategies for identifying signs of distress, setting healthy boundaries, and providing appropriate support while maintaining personal well-being. The session will offer practical tools for guiding others toward mental and spiritual wellness and resources for professional referrals, self-care practices, and support. Each day will include a time of teaching and review, personal reflection, and group sharing, with a practicum on spiritual warfare and an opportunity for hands-on engagement to address individual needs and emotional burdens within community groups. This session fosters a compassionate approach to mental health triage, empowering individuals to serve effectively while recognizing their own limits and responsibilities in supporting others..

Sarah Andruszko, a licensed therapist, will serve in the session as an assistant to Katie. The sessions often include a time of ministry. Both Sarah and your coach will assist and engage in this process.

COUNSELING

In-person counseling appointments are available during your free time. Please visit the counseling page for more details and to make a reservation. Spaces are limited, and we cannot provide counseling appointments for every person. As such, please make your reservation as soon as possible.

Please note that counseling appointments are scheduled after the Mental Health Triage. If, for any reason, that session went overtime, you need to step out if you have a confirmed counseling appointment.
