ABOUT LILIA

Lilia has a passion for seeing women flourish in every season of their lives. She was first introduced to ministry as a young adult, and it radically transformed her life. She was raised and discipled at the Rock Church in Anaheim, under Pastors Jerry and Kimberly Dirmann. She is grateful for the experience of almost two decades of being discipled and trained by godly mentors and leaders who imparted into her life. She testifies that those years of being rooted in her local church and ministry community fortified her to continue to serve the Lord in many seasons of life.

Lilia’s family immigrated from Mexico City when she was a young girl. She understands the challenges and the blessings of coming into a new culture. She embraces her heritage and experiences as they have provided the ability to minister to women of many cultures. Lilia uses her bilingual gift to minister locally and internationally on the mission field.

Lilia and her beloved husband have been married for fifteen years. Ty and Lilia have seen the Lord increase their capacity as they have grown together in their marriage. They both love to come alongside ministry couples as they navigate the seasons of marriage, parenting and partnering in ministry. They have been blessed with three beautiful children whom they delight in. Lilia has a passion to cultivate family ministry both at home and in public ministry.

She has dedicated the last eight years to homeschooling her children at home. It brings her great joy to have the opportunity to disciple her children thru this community. One of her greatest passions is to teach and empower women of all ages how to embrace the joy of motherhood.

Lilia and her family moved to the East Coast in 2020 by the direction of the Lord. Their ministry has expanded both to the local church and to serve the Foursquare Church Denomination. They partner in pastoring a thriving church in North Carolina called Arise. She also serves as the Next Generation and Women’s Ministry leader.

Lilia has a great passion for cultivating communities with deep roots. She values life giving discipleship and relationships. She believes in the power of living out the Gospel in her home and inviting the Lord to make their home a place of rest and nourishment.

Lilia was a part of the first WIML cohort in 2013. This experience greatly shaped her and launched her into a path of fruitful ministry. She champions women to embrace God’s grace to fulfill their purpose and destiny.
